Steroid Information

Aromasin

Aromasin belongs to the class of drugs known as aromatase inhibitors and as such is the trade name for the active drug Exemestane. Developed largely to treat postmenopausal women who fall prey to breast cancer it performs its task by actively reducing the amount of estrogen in the body, as estrogen is highly related in such cases of breast cancer. By this same mode of action Aromasin has found a permanent home in the world of athletics and performance enhancing as estrogen, although vital can also be very problematic.

Arimidex – Aromasin – Letrozole

By-in-large most aromatase inhibitors are very similar as their primary action is the same; reducing the amount of estrogen thereby preventing it from binding. All three common forms, Arimidex, Aromasin and Letrozole all perform this action with Letrozole reducing the amount of estrogen to the greatest degree. By supplementing with these AI’s as they are commonly known we can prevent many of the side-effects commonly associated with anabolic steroid use, especially Gynecomastia. Like Arimidex and Letrozole, Aromasin performs the same action, however, it does so in a more permanent and binding way if you will, thereby labeling it more accurately as a suicidal inhibitor of the aromatase class. However, the most obvious question is which one is more effective? In most all cases any of the three will get the job done and in most cases it will simply be of an individualistic preference.

Aromasin – Testosterone – IGF 1

With assurance the primary purpose in-terms of function regarding Aromasin is its estrogen inhibiting effect but it further carries other characteristics of importance, especially to the performance enhancer. Like all aromatase inhibitors Aromasin has the ability to raise total testosterone levels in the body fairly decently; as you understand this is an added bonus as testosterone is one of the most important anabolic hormones of all if not the single most important. As it increases testosterone Aromasin also increases the production of IGF 1 in the body when present, a very powerful anabolic hormone in its own right. While this is increase will not prove to be of any great significance it is still worth noting.

Aromasin Use

Without question the best time for Aromasin use is during the actual anabolic steroid cycle in an effort to prevent common estrogen related side-effects. However, this AI can be successfully used during the PCT process as well, as increasing natural testosterone production is part of its mode of action, although by somewhat of a secondary nature. However, most will find SERM’s to be optimal during the PCT process in-terms of the long run and overall health. Nolvadex and Clomid along with hCG are all most will ever need for a quality post cycle therapy plan and as such most will find Aromasin best suited for their on cycle needs.
